Been going to Vegas for over 20 years for the first and 2nd round.. Nothing like it. Last year cancelled the usual trip. This year passing , vibe isn't back to where it should be for this event.

Vegas was slammed Super Bowl weekend. Maybe not as crowded as normal for that weekend, but the casinos were hopping and it looked the closest thing to what a normal Vegas weekend looks like since the pandemic started. I would expect a similar type of crowd/vibe this coming weekend.

Definitely different. But it was happening. Every seat taken (although fewer seats). Packed standing room only. Long lines to bet. Table games packed. Traffic on entire casino floor was heavy.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Alot of restaurants still closed If I'm hearing right.. That doesn't help the cause either. Fans limited in this bubble situation puts some damper on event .. I still got futures going with event , and will get more action down next week , but watching at home is the better play this year for me.

I'm headed there this week. There are still some restaurants closed, but most of the popular ones are back open now. I was able to make reservations at every place that we want to eat at.

Things are definitely not as they were. And may never be quite what they once were. But things definitely headed back to somewhat normal sized crowds. I'll report back on my next experience when I return.

I wonder if it will be better or worse with the Friday-Monday schedule instead of Thursday- Sunday?

Same here. I have been going about 15 years now but passing on this year as well. I also enjoyed it much more before every restaurant/lounge showing the games started charging for entry and includes a min order amount. We went to one place that wanted $150/person just to come in and a $100 min order. I will likely spend more than $250+ if I am there all day watching games, while eating a drinking. But an entry fee is ridiculous.

So the restaurants are all open no problems there the problem is the losers that don’t cover there nose wear bandannas and so forth.I was waiting in a long line for hot dogs a bandanna guy was smoking in line dropping f bombs and no one was really 6’ apart. So we went to Green Valley and it was way more civilized and not as crowded.

Same for me,as i love March Madness in Vegas but passing this year.I just don't think the same vibes will be there, and im used to seeing the places packed for this event. This is the biggest event for Vegas every year, but i don't feel it being like that this year.

I will be going out in September for college football and the start of the NFL season. It just might be a little better as long as this virus lightens up

This place is packed if anything don’t come because of. I’m at the cosmopolitan and it’s no different than any other time I’ve been here

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the current Vegas scene. Do you feel uneasy due to shady characters on the strip especially after dark?

Although this is a great video, you know this should really be put in the CBB Forum area!!!

It's in the main forum because it's a topic about gambling snowflake. Awww... your feelings still hurt cause I asked you to post political topics in the political forum in a gambling site. Here's a hanky you puss.

Restaurants are bumping up to 50% capacity on Monday so that should be helpful although you should still check the hours and days before you just show up for a meal. The capacity limits in the casino were always a joke because they were including conference space in the square footage calculation which essentially meant they didn't have to turn anyone away in the casino although sportsbook seating was and will be problematic.

Still seeing very random acts of violence that they try to keep on the QT. After midnight, I would consider outside walking somewhat risky. The fronts of Ballys, Planet Hollywood and the Bellagio seem to be magnets for troublemakers, thugs and hoods.
